The IB Asia Pacific Healthcare Fund II Seeks to Invest in;
Entities in the Healthcare & Medical Science sector:
- The Fund will assess companies in the fields of Heathcare, Life Science, Hospital Serivices, Contract Research Organistions / Serivice Providers and other health related auxillary entities.
Entities in the Asia Pacific Region:
- The Fund would assess companies domicilied in, or have a tangible link with Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mainland China, India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.
Proprietary technologies with international relevance:
- The Fund seeks globally relevent business and technologies, that have broader application than its domestic market,
- The Fund will consider investment into entities that seek to expand into new jurisdictions,
- The asset will usually be globally relevent.
Identified exit opportunities:
- The ability for Trade sale, Merger or Quotation of the entities securities on a globally relevent stock exchange must be present,
- An exit horizon of 3-5 years.
A strong IP position:
- All intellectual property must be relevent and unencumbered,
- Patents should be validated.
Programmes in clinical development or generating revenue:
- The technology or assets must be in human clinical trials or in the revenue-growth phase,
- Preclinical evaluation and blueprinting should be completed.
